Marcia Atkins publishes her profile in the Society Society newsletter.
Chuck Jackson retires (for the third time!).  First was the U.S. Navy, then L-3 Communications (a local defense contractor, now known as L3Harris after a merger with another century old technology firm).  After continuing to work for them as a contract employee for several years, he was finally lured back onto the payroll, as the team lead on an important project (Air Force C-17 Cockpit Display upgrade).  Then, when the project was complete, he retired again, this month.  Hopefully it will stick this time!  Although he was reluctant to return to being a regular employee, it turned out to be a God-send, as it came within a few dollars of DOUBLING his pension!
