Program: Annual Christmas Dinner, held at Marva's Place, a new restaurant in downtown Douglasville (Note: now defunct).  Most members were not pleased with either the food (barely adequate) or the service (very poor).  It is doubtful we will return.  Web Master sez: Not sure what we're doing to these places, but three of them have now gone out of business after being patronized by the Society.  Soon they'll be locking the doors when they see us coming!!!
Elaine Steere publishes Part I of Music, a Wiseman Gene, the story of Scott Wiseman and Myrtle Cooper (Skyland Scotty and Lulu Belle - a country music act) in the Society newsletter.
