Cream Cheese Poundcake

Time:

Total: 1 hour 35 minutes
Prep: 20 minutes
Cook: 1 hour 15 minutes

Ingredients:

3 cups cake flour – Sift flour before measuring
3 sticks butter or margarine
6 eggs
3 cups sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
8 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Preparation:

Cream the sugar, butter, and cream cheese together.
Add eggs (one at a time) and mix well.
Sift flour with salt.  NOTE: Be sure to sift flour before measuring.
Add flour to cream cheese mixture.
Add vanilla last.

Cooking:

Bake in large tube cake pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325°F.
